1 POINT SHOULD HAVE BEEN 3.
I was asked to write something positive about today's match so I have to say the sausage and chips were expertly cooked despite the oven packing up lol. But seriously once more a game we should have won being 2-0 up on 36 mins but as usual lately a lapse of concentration (?) gave Midhurst a goal on 39. This changed the match and what was comfortable became hard and they scored again on 45 so half time 2-2. The second half was fairly even and sadly any decent play was ruined by some strange decisions by the officials. However Midhurst went 3-2 up on 82 and it looked like game over but from a last gasp corner Seaford scored and got a well deserved point. Scorers for Seaford were Webber 2 and Saunders 1. As to the strange decisions how Seaford were not awarded a penalty on the 75th minute was a joke when in fairness even the opposition bench could not believe their luck. But I guess sometimes it goes for you and other times it dos not. Not a bad overall performance a point better than none but we need to get back to winning ways before the season, which promised so much, just drifts away. Heads up guys. Squad Webb, Pout, S Dartnall, Stracey, Thomsett, Shew, Buckett, Saunders, Webber, B Dartnall, Sisimayi. Subs Zabadne for S Dartnall, Botting for Stracey, Kidman for Sisimayu. not used Haskell. Match Sponsor was HPS PLUMBING OF NEWHAVEN.
